Individual Grief Coaching
Grief is a complex and challenging experience that can leave individuals feeling stuck and unable to move forward. My one-to-one grief coaching sessions are designed to meet you where you are and provide support, guidance and understanding to navigate your way through your feelings and find a path forward.
My Approach
I provide:
Goal focused approach - By using coaching techniques to identify blockages in your grief, giving us an objective to work towards and a measurable result
Safe and supportive space - We can meet in person (location dependant) or online for you to explore your grief and welcome the benefits of healing
Realistic Attitude - There's no toxic positivity here! I won't say 'You got this!' Grief is really hard, all consuming and can conjure up some shameful feelings. I'll allow you to feel and process whatever you need
A deeper understanding - Your grief may be impacting on your life more than you realise. We'll explore this, introduce coping strategies for managing triggers and look at your values and beliefs
Develop self-care practices - We'll create a tool box of activities for you to go to whenever you need to support your mental and emotional well-being
What to Expect
My sessions are tailored to the unique needs and experiences of each individual I work with ensuring you receive personalised and relevant support and guidance.
Although there is no minimum or maximum about of sessions to commit to, I recommend a package of four 60 minute sessions to start with taken weekly or fortnightly. This is to ensure we have a measurable length of time to start seeing the benefits.
I have worked with individuals from all walks of life and offer no judgement. I pride myself on being able to make people feel at ease with my compassionate nature and bring a calming yet uplifting energy to the sessions.
Each session is up to 60 minutes. If the session reaches a natural conclusion before 60 minutes then we may make a mutual decision to end it there.
Disclaimer: I won't help you 'get over' your loved one! I wouldn't want to! And you never will! But I will do my utmost to help you move forward in your grief journey, empowering you to live a life of more joy than sadness.
